Durch das Erstellen der Masterarbeit wird die Kompetenz des Studierenden gefördert, ein Thema selbständig nach wissenschaftlichen Grundsätzen zu bearbeiten.

Content of teaching

Als Masterarbeit ist unter der Anleitung eines Betreuers/einer Betreuerin eine schriftliche Arbeit zu einem wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Thema anzufertigen. Vorbereitend und begleitend ist ein Kolloquium zum jeweiligen Themengebiet zu besuchen.

Die Masterarbeit ist eine schriftliche Ausarbeitung. Die Bearbeitungszeit beträgt sechs Monate. Der Ausgabezeitpunkt ist aktenkundig zu machen. Der Umfang der Arbeit beträgt in der Regel zwischen 40 und 80 Seiten. Voraussetzung für eine positive Bewertung ist, dass die Arbeit in dreifacher Ausfertigung fristgerecht beim Prüfungsamt der Fakultät für Mathematik eingereicht wird. Weitere Regelungen ergeben sich aus der Masterprüfungsordnung.
